Realme 5 confirmed to feature 5000mAh battery, Realme 5 Pro to sport VOOC 3.0 Flash charge

Realme has confirmed some key details about the battery department of the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro.

Realme is all set to launch its next-generation of smartphones with the new Realme 5 series in India on August 20. The company has also revealed that both the smartphones will be equipped with quad-camera setup and now, it has confirmed some key details about the battery department of the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro.

The company has officially revealed on its Twitter handle the battery capacity of the Realme 5 smartphone. The tweet says that the smartphone will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery. The tweet reads, “With #realme5 remarkable 5000mAh battery, unleash your endless creativity in capturing the world around you!” Separately, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the Realme 5 smartphone will be priced less than Rs 10,000 in India.

In another tweet, the company has also confirmed that the Realme 5 Pro will support VOOC 3.0 flash charge support. The tweet says, “Real without any heating issues even while using your smartphone – say goodbye to your charging woes with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 on #realme5Pro!” Interestingly, the VOOC 3.0 flash charge was also present in the Realme X smartphone.

Meanwhile, the company has made live the teaser page of both Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones on its official page. The company is holding an event on its website where users will get a chance to win a new Realme 5 smartphone along with Realme backpack and Realme Buds when login onto the ‘Notify Me’ tab to get a lucky draw-code.

Starting with Realme 5, the listing page reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with a quad-camera setup. The primary lens will feature f/1.8 and 1.25-micron pixel size along with a 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a super and portrait lens. The listing page also reveals that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm processor, which will be the first in India.

Coming to Realme 5 Pro, the listing page reveals that it will also house a quad-camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary lens along with a 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, 4cm super macro lens and a depth sensor for taking portrait shots. The device will be equipped with VOOC 3.0 flash charge that will provide 55 per cent battery in just 30 minutes. Lastly, the device will be powered by ‘lighting fast’ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
