Realme 3 Pro to launch in India on April 22: Confirmed

As for the pricing, Realme is expected to keep the price of the Realme phone pretty close to Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The much anticipated Relame 3 Pro will finally be launching in India on April 22. We have learnt from sources familiar with the development that the company will be launching the upcoming smartphone on the said date.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has been teasing the launch of Realme 3 Pro on his official social media handles from quite some time now. Earlier in the day we reported that the upcoming phone will support Fortnite game. Customers would be able to play Fortnite without any hassle with the powerful Realme 3 Pro would come with. As per Sheth, Realme 3 Pro would be the first smartphone in the current mid-range segment to support Fortnite.

In an earlier tweet revealing the camera samples of the phone, Madhav Sheth confirmed that they will be hosting the launch event at the campus in Delhi University. He shared three images in the tweet, one is a selfie while the other two images have been shot using the rear camera on the Realme 3 Pro.

As per rumours, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 (SD 710) processor. With this chipset, the phone will directly take on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro which comes with a Snapdragon 675 chipset. The 10nm-based 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 is a faster chipset and offers a better as compared to the Snapdragon 675.

It is expected that Realme 3 Pro will pack triple camera set up on the back panel. Realme phone may sport a 48MP main back camera similar to the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Realme 3 Pro will come with a Sony IMX519 camera sensor.

As per a recent specifications leak, the upcoming phone will have an upgraded VOOC 3.0 from Oppo which is capable of charging from 0 to 75% in under 30 minutes. In terms of storage, Realme 3 Pro will come in three variants – 4GB with 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage.

As for the pricing, Realme is expected to keep the price of the Realme phone pretty close to Redmi Note 7 Pro. In India, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro comes in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage priced at Rs 13,999and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage will cost you Rs 16,999.
