Realme has started rolling out a new update to its Realme 3 and Realme 3i smartphones.
Realme has started rolling out a new update to its Realme 3 and Realme 3i smartphones. The update brings Dark Mode, customizable data consumption reminder and an updated charging animation along with some other improvements.
The update comes with version number RMX1821EX_11.A.24 and it brings November 2019 security patch as well. The official changelog reveals that the update activate Lockdown Mode by long pressing the power button, display the data consumed by connected devices customizable data consumption reminder and an updated charging animation.
Further, the update adds realme Laboratory, Dark Mode and Google Digital Wellbeing. It updates battery interface display the screen on time, adds option for notification dots for updates and Clone Apps supports more third-party applications (PayTM, PhonePe, Amazon, Flipkart).
Moving on, the new update also optimized lock screen clock widget design, adds date and weather widget and optimizes Smart Assistant interface. It redesigns the notification center style, Swipe left or right to dismiss message notifications, adds fast switch toggle between SIMs in notification center, removes the reminder after hotspot has been enabled, adds option to swipe down on home screen for global search or notification center and remove the prompt when device is rooted.
Realme in its forum post has mentioned it is a staged rollout, the update will be randomly pushed to a limited number of users and will have a broader rollout in coming days after making sure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.
