Realme is all set to launch its third smartphone in India. Dubbed as Realme 2 Pro, the smartphone will be launched on September 27 in the country.
The company has started sending out media invites for an event that is scheduled to take place on September 26 and September. The invite reads, “We are back 2 surPrise you,” with some highlighted letter that denotes that the next phone will be indeed Realme 2 Pro.
The launch time is in line with our previous report that denoted that the company is planning to launch the latest smartphone in the month of September. we got to know from our sources that the company will launch Realme 2 Pro will be launched on September 28, 2018.
Earlier, Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India said to The Mobile Indian, ” We are going to launch Realme 2 Pro within a month.” Although he did not shed light on the specifications or the exact date of launch, he said, “ It will be priced a bit higher than Realme 1 but less than Rs 20,000.” He adds that the smartphone will come with “best of the Processor and best of design.” We have learned from our sources that Realme will launch its next smartphone with Qualcomm chipset.
To recall, the company recently introduced the Realme 2 smartphone in India. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM variant, while the 4GB RAM option is priced at Rs 10,990. The phone is available in Diamond Blue, Black and Red colour options. The phone features a 6.2-inch SuperView HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and a 271ppi Pixel density. The phone features a notch on the top and it is equipped with 88.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
