Images of a new Samsung device, allegedly that of the new Galaxy Note II smartphone-tablet, has been leaked online, just a day before the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event where the company is expected to announced the release of the device.
A website, known as GottaBeMobile, spotted a report by Korean News Daily that had published an image of a promotional flyer with specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Note II. As per those details, Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 will feature a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. Now that is bit surprising because the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 featured a 5.3-inch HD Super Amoled touchscreen display with 1280×800 pixel resolution.
Under the hood, it will house a quad-core Samsung Exynos 4 Quad 4412 mobile processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and will run Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update. Samsung may offer the Note II in 16 GB and 32 GB on-board storage options. At the back would be an 8 megapixel camera. Besides, the device is expected to support for 3G as well as 4G LTE networks.
Of all things, we can assume that the new virtual assistant service S-Voice will also be featured on the Galaxy Note II. Also, we may get to see the next TouchWiz user interface on this new Note II.
At this moment, we are not sure of the authenticity of these specifications and hence taking it as a grain of salt. Anyway, the official launch will take place in next 24 hours when everything will be cleared by Samsung itself.
