Price of Apple iPhone SE 64GB model for Indian market revealed

In India, the Apple iPhone SE 16GB will be available for Rs 39,000 while 64GB variant will cost Rs 49,000.

Apple’s latest iPhone SE, which was unveiled last month at an event in the United States, is scheduled to be launched in India on April 8. At that time, Apple had only revealed the price of iPhone SE’s 16 model but not of its 64 GB model.

But now the price of the 64GB variant of iPhone SE has been revealed as well. The phone was actually found listed on the Apple’s official Indian website for Rs 49,000. Note that as per Apple, the 16 GB model of the phone will cost RS 39,000 in India. In US, the 16 GB version has a price tag of $399 (approximately Rs 26,500) while the 64 GB version is priced at $499 (approximately Rs 33,210). The iPhone SE is available in four color options -silver, gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold.

The Apple iPhone SE, which has a 4 inch display, weighs just 113 grams, 0.3 inch thick, 4.87 inch wide and 2.31 inch tall. The backlit display has 1136×640 pixels resolution, thereby offering 326 ppi pixel density. This multi touch screen has fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating too.
Apple iPhone SE
The Apple iPhone SE is powered by the A9 Chip that is made in 64 bit architecture and has the M9 motion co-processor. It has a 12 megapixel iSight rear camera that has 1.22µ pixels, autofocus, panorama mode (can create images in up to 63 MP), f/2.2 aperture, five element lens, Hybrid IR filter, auto image stabilisation, geotagging, noise reduction and face detection features. This camera can record videos as well as full HD and HD videos. Besides, the iPhone SE can record slow motion videos in full HD at 120 and HD videos in 240 fps.

For selfies and video calls, the Apple iPhone SE is armed with a 1.2 megapixel front camera that can record HD videos. It has f/2.4 aperture, backside illumination sensor, burst mode, timer, Auto HDR, exposure control and face detection features.

The Apple iPhone SE also has a fingerprint sensor which is built into the Home button. The iPhone SE has NFC, 4.2 and WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac). It has GPS with GLONASS, Digital Compass and LTE with VoLTE as well. Ofcourse, the Apple iPhone SE also comes with Siri assistant, lighting connector, a microphone and claims to offer battery back up of up to 14 hours on networks. It has gyro, accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.

The Apple iPhone SE has the new 9 operating system. It has Hindi (Devanagari, Transliteration), Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Arabic, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, language supports too.

Starting April 8, Redington, the sole official retailer of Apple in the country, will start selling the newest iPhone model 16 GB variant through its 3000 retail outlets across the country. The 64GB varaint is also is expected to go on sale alongside the 16GB edition on April 8 in the country.
