Price Drop Alert: HTC U Play now available for Rs 29,990 (original price: Rs 39,990)

HTC U Play, which was originally launched for the best buy price of Rs 39,990 is now available for Rs 29,990 exclusively via Amazon India. The device was launched back in February 2017 and was up for sale starting March 15 2017. You can also avail Rs 2,300 Amazon Pay cash back by paying under Credit Card EMI. For the specifications, the U Play is more of a mid-range device. It comes with a 5.2-inch full display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 IPS display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 and will be made available in 3GB and 32GB, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage options. On the camera front, the device is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF, f2/2.0 aperture, while for the front there is a 16-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 28mm focal length.

The device runs on latest 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 2500 mAh battery with fast charging support. On the connectivity front, the device support LTE, GPS, 4.2, Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA, Miracast, HTC Connect and 2.0 Type-C.

With the U series, HTC also introduced its own smart personal assistant with the name ‘Sense Companion’ – which never came into real existence. The smart assistant is yet to make a mark on both HTC U Ultra and Play and HTC has kind off forgotten that about the personal assistant which it boasted about a lot at the launch.
