Poco recently unveiled the Poco X5 Pro 5G in India at the same time it unveiled the smartphone globally, alongside the X5 5G. However, the Poco X5 5G didn’t make it to India at the time. Now, the brand has confirmed that the device is coming to the country on March 14, 2023. Apart from that, Itel has debuted the A60 smartphone in India with a 6.6-inch display.
Poco tweeted that the X5 5G will launch in India on March 14 at 12PM IST. The device arrived globally back in February and will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. Furthermore, it was also confirmed that the Poco X5 5G will be priced under Rs 20,000 in India.
As for the global pricing, the POCO X5 5G costs $249 (approx Rs 20,400) and $299 (approx Rs 24,500) for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options, respectively. We are yet to get the official pricing details for the Indian variant of the device.
Poco X5 5G Specifications
The Poco X5 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. It is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Poco device features triple rear cameras comprising of a a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper.
The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. It runs on MIUI 14-based Android 12 out of the box. Other features on the Poco X5 5G include USB-C port, NFC, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, coin vibration motor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and more.
Itel A60 Price, Specs
The Itel A60 is available in 3 colour options such as Dawn Blue, Vert Menthe and Sapphire black. The device is priced at Rs 5,999. It can be purchased from both online and offline stores, including the official itel store and prominent retail outlets.
The Itel A60 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ Water-Drop fullscreen display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by the Unisoc SC9832E chip, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage expandable up to 128GB. The device runs on Android 12 (Go Edition).
It gets an 8MP + VGA sensor rear camera setup alongside a 5MP front facing camera. The Itel device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 5W standard charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a micro-USB port for charging.
