Plantronics BackBeat Sense, Voyager Focus UC Bluetooth headphones launched

The Voyager Focus UC, the company claims, is the industry's first wireless Bluetooth stereo headset with active noise-cancellation (ANC) technology.

Plantronics today launched BackBeat Sense and Voyager Focus UC headsets at Rs 9,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively. The Voyager Focus UC, the company claims, is the industry’s first wireless Bluetooth stereo headset with active noise-cancellation (ANC) technology designed to reduce noise and distraction in open, collaborative and remote workspaces.
BackBeat Sense
The Voyager Focus UC can be connected with other devices via Bluetooth and has range of up to 45 meters. It has something called ‘Dynamic Mute Alert technology’ that senses speech and then alerts that the mute function is still active. Additionally, the headset will automatically mute when a user takes it off and unmute when it’s put back on. The has leatherette ear cushions and even its metal headband has cushions for comfort and secure fit.
Voyager Focus UC
The BackBeat Sense, which will be available in via online and physical retail outlets, comes in Black/Espresso and White/Tan colours. The BackBeat Sense headphone can be paired with two devices simultaneously via Class 1 Bluetooth in a range of up-to 330ft/100m. The headphone is said to fit 99 per cent of all head sizes.

BackBeat Sense headphone promises 18 hours of non-stop audio playback on a single charge, 21 days of and 180 days in DeepSleep mode. It is packed with rechargeable, non-replaceable lithium-ion battery that takes up to 2.5 hours to get fully charged. The headphone also features smart that pause/play streaming audio as you remove/put on the headphones which help preserving battery life. BackBeat Sense headphone weighs just 140 grams.

The other features include noise cancellation, inbuilt microphones to enable voice communication, and OpenMic technology, which enable users to hear what is going on around him without removing the headphones.
