It seems that Google Pixel devices have encountered yet another bug and this time it is related to text messages. Multiple users have reported that they are not able to receive text messages after the official Android Oreo update.
The issue was publicly highlighted by a subscriber Gary Gregg, on the Google’s Pixel Community Forums and said that he is not able to receive any text on his Pixel XL which is running Android Oreo 8.0. The user even tried to fix the issue by uninstalling all the installed apps and disabling messaging apps, including Google Message and Verizon+, but still, the problem was not solved.
