A patent filing has revealed crucial information about LG’s upcoming flagship, the LG G7.
As per the patent filing, which suraced in LetGoDigital, the G7 might come with an advanced Iris scanner. The scanner, reports claimed, not will help lock the phone but will keep sensitive info safe by locking apps if it finds the user is not the owner of the phone.
Iris scanners usually work with Infrared light but reports said that the one used in G7 will be able to work in both Infrared and regular light.
LG G7 is expected to be launched during Consumer Electronic Show in January next year. However not much is known about it yet.
The current LG flaghship, the G6 offers a 5.7 inch QHD Plus display, 3300 mAh battery, Snapdragon 821 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of ROM, dual rear cameras, 5 megapixel front camera, micro SD card support, water and dust resistance, metal body with glass backing, Android Nougat among other top end features.
One thing thus is quite sure, that LG G7 would definitely bring with its some of the top of the line features.
