Panasonic will be launching its two new smartphones under Eluga series in India tomorrow i.e September 19 – Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 and Panasonic Eluga Ray 700. The company has now sent the media invites for the launch event to be held in New Delhi tomorrow. Both the smartphones are likely to be Flipkart exclusive.
Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 was recently spotted on Flipkart at Rs 8,999. The phone will be available for sale on September 21 during Flipkart’s BigBillionDays sale at 12 pm. It will come in three colours – Champagne Gold, Mocha Gold and Marine Blue. Currently, the smartphone is listed on Flipkart with Coming Soon status.
Now the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 is also found listed on Flipkart for Rs 9,999 with Coming Soon status. It will come in Champagne Gold, Marine Blue and Mocha Gold colours. Like Panasonic Eluga Ray 500, this phone also will be available for sale on September 21 during Flipkart’s BigBillionDays sale at 12 pm.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and is backed by a 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the home button on the front.
On the camera front, the device sports a dual rear cameras compromising of 13-megapixel primary camera which has a 5P lens, f/2.0 Aperture as well as a dual-LED flash and 8-megapixel secondary camera with a 6P lens and f/2.4 aperture. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling with 3P lens and a f/2.4 aperture. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and runs on stock Android 7.0 Nougat. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, Dual-SIM and Micro USB 2.0 port. It has Sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor. The device measures 144.26 x 71.26 x 9.2mm and weighs 163 grams.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 on the other hand, features 5.5-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and is backed by a 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the home button on the front.
