Panasonic Eluga S Mini launched at Rs 8,990

It has the Blink Play feature that lets one click selfies or groupies with a 5 megapixel front snapper just by blinking.

Panasonic India today launched a Mini version of its Eluga S with a smaller display but the same processor. The company has introduced an arc-shaped back cover with frost-effect which Panasonic says “gives the smart gadget a stylish look which will certainly draw interest from the youth”. The phone will be made available from this week itself at the best buy price of Rs 8,990.

The ocat core Eluga S Mini sports a 4.7 inch HD IPS display and features the Blink Play that lets one click selfies or groupies with a 5 megapixel front snapper just by blinking. Eluga S Mini is powered by True Octa Core (1.4GHz) processor, 1GB and 8GB of which can be expanded to upto 32GB. The new smartphone has an 8 megapixel capable camera along with 1980 mAh battery.

Besides, the dual SIM Panasonic Eluga S Mini has 4.0, WiFi with WiFi Direct and WiFi Hotspot, with A-GPS, and FM radio support. The handset measures 137.5 x 68.4 x (5.7-9.45mm, arc-shaped) and weighs 135 grams. It also has support for 21 Indian languages.

On the launch, Manish Sharma, managing director, Panasonic India said, “With the launch of the new smartphone, we are here to offer a new dimension to the Eluga S category; wherein the model has been targeted at the younger generation – the always-on-the-go college youth. Keeping in mind the affordability aspect, this device is perfect for consumers looking for innovation, design, superior build quality and advanced features.”
