Oppo had launched Oppo R9s alongwith Oppo R9s Plus in China in October this year in China. The Oppo R9s is priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,680) and comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. Now a new red colour of Oppo R9s has surfaced online which hints at possible launch of the device in China.
A red colour image has been leaked on Chinese microblogging website Weibo and as per reports, the red colour variant could be unveiled before Christmas this year. However, availability of red colour in other countries apart from China is not known at the moment.
Oppo R9s offers a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory and 128GB expandable memory via micro SD card slot. The smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with ColorOS 3.0 on the top of it and is backed up by a 3,100 mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge. There is also fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the front.
The Oppo R9s flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor, 6P lens, EIS, LED Flash, 4K video recording and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The handset measures 153 x 74.3 x 6.58 mm and weighs 145 grams.
