It seems Oppo’s R9s and R9s will soon get company from Samsung as it is working on Galaxy C7 Pro which will sport a 16 Megapixel front and rear camera. Oppo was the first handset manufacturer to launch a smartphone with 16 megapixel front and rear camera.
Oppo R9s and R9s Plus were launched a few a weeks back and are priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,680) and 3499 Yuan (approximately Rs 34,590) respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro which was yesterday spotted on GeekBench benchmarking website is now spotted on Antutu Benchmarking website as well. Earlier, Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro was also spotted on Indian export import website Zauba. The new C series smartphone from Samsung has the model number SM-C7010.
Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro may come with a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display but the screen size is not known. It may run on Qualcomm 626 SoC (2.2GHz) along with Adreno 506 GPU supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.
In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro got 1000 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 5679 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 2.21 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Along with Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, Samsung is also working on Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro which will come with the model number SM-C5010. Further, the C5 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 625 Chipset and the C7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 626 chipset .
Both the devices seem to be successors to Galaxy’s C5 and C7 which were launched in June 2016. However, Samsung failed to launch both the devices in India so we are not so sure if the Pro variants will launch in India or not.
