Oppo is all set to launch Oppo F3 Plus smartphone boasting dual front camera setup across five markets, which includes India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam on 23rd March. And just before the official launch, the said smartphone has been spotted on GFXBench website with model name 'Oppo CPH1613', revealing its key specifications.
Meanwhile, an unboxing video of the smartphone has also been spotted on YouTube, revealing additional specifications.
Here is what we know so far for Oppo F3 Plus based on the GFXbench listing, YouTube video and Company teasers.
The Oppo F3 Plus will have a 6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 resolution and probably Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will be powered by 1.9 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It will come with a 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
Earlier, the company confirmed that the Oppo F3 Plus smartphone will have a 16-megapixel front camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary front camera to achieve the depth of field (Bokeh). However, GFXBench did not provide any information on the former (8-megapixel secondary rear camera). On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel shooter with PDAF on its back panel. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, contradicting earlier leaks which indicated that the phone will run on Android Nougat operating system with Color OS 3.0 on top of it. The company also confirmed that the smartphone will have a fingerprint scanner, which will be integrated into its home button. Besides, the smartphone offers Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, Accelerometer, Digital compass, Gyroscope, Light sensor, Proximity, and Pedometer. It will measure 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm and weigh in at 185 grams. Further, the smartphone will have a 120-degree wide angle lens for one of the selfie camera and will have VOOC support as well. As per earlier leaks, the F3 Plus will get its strength from a weighty 4000mAh battery.
There is a strong possibility that the company might also launch Oppo F3 as well, along with Oppo F3 Plus, which were recently spotted in promotional ads which were displayed in one of the retail stores in the Philippines.
As far as Oppo F3 is concerned, ii is rumoured to feature a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 653 SoC. It will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android Nougat operating system. On the camera front, it will have a 13-megapixel sensor with LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Further, it is said to be armed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor.
