After launching Oppo A9 last month, Oppo has now launched the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the A series dubbed as Oppo A9x.
The Oppo A9x is priced at 1999 yuan (Rs 20,270 approx.) and it is now available for pre-order through Oppo Shop. It comes in Ice Jade White and Meteorite Black colours and it will go on sale from May 21 in China.
Oppo A9x features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio and fifth-gen Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by octa core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor (quad 2.1GHz Cortex A73 + quad 2GHz Cortex A53 CPUs) with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone has 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.
For the camera, the phone has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 Aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. For the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Oppo A9x runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 and it is backed up by a 4020mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The connectivity options for the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack and FM Radio. The phone measures 162 x 76.1 x 8.3m and it weighs 190 grams.
