Oppo has today launched Oppo A5 in China. The smartphone is priced at CNY 1,500 which is approximately Rs 15,500. The Oppo A5 is currently available for pre-orders in China and it will be available for purchase from July 13. It comes in two colour options – Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink.
The Oppo A5 features a 6.2-inch display with 720 x 1520 pixel Resolution and a notch on the top. It comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio and an 87.9 percent of screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card slot.
On the camera front, it is boasted by a dual rear camera of 13-megapixelwith LED flash, f/2.2 Aperture and 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 aperture. For the front camera, it has an 8-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats. It runs on Android 8.1 operating system and backed up by a 4230mAh battery. The front camera has AI beautify features with which it can recognize 296 facial features.
For connectivity features, the Oppo A5 has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB OTG. The smartphonehas a dimension of 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2 mm and it weighs 168 grams.
