The Champagne Edition of OnePlus X will be available from today (Dec 30) midnight in India. Like the Onyx version, it too is being sold through Amazon India. Also it has the same specification as the OnePlus X Onyx version and is priced at Rs 16,999 as well. Earlier a ceramic variant of OnePlus X was also available at Rs 22,999 but only 10,000 units of that model was made available by OnePlus which is now out of stock.
We have already reviewed the OnePlus X Onyx version. It looks stunning in a glass and metal design and is just 6.9 mm thick and weighs 138 grams. It offers a 5 inch Active Matrix OLED display with full high definition (1920×1080 pixels) resolution.
The OnePlus X is based on the Oxygen OS that is built upon the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. To run the OS, the phone has the powerful Snapdragon 801 quad core processor that runs at 2.3 Ghz and 3 GB LP-DDR3 RAM. There is 16 GB of internal storage in the phone along with an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 128 GB.
The OnePlus X has a 2525 mAh Li-Po battery WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS and BDS. Note that it has one nano SIM card slot while the other slot can either be used for a SIM card or for a micro SD card. It is compatile with 4G networks too.
The smartphone has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with F/2.0 Aperture and slow motion video recording capability and for selfies it offers an 8 megapixel front camera. Other than that the new OnePlus X offers dual microphone for noise cancellation and FM radio.
