OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones will be launched in India on September 26. Now as per a tweet by the company, the OnePlus 7T will come with 23 percent faster charging with Warp Charge 30T.
Also, in an interview with TechRadar, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau says “We believe that Warp Charge 30T offers the best charging solution for real-world usage. You can charge the phone at 23% faster speeds, even while using the device.”
“We’re not going to introduce something for the sake of being first,” Lau said. When asked why it didn’t come to the OnePlus 7 Pro launched earlier this year, he said: “We took time to refine and iterate, continuously testing until we were able to achieve something we were proud to provide to our fans.”
Furthermore, he said “Unlike most fast charging solutions, Warp Charge 30 handles the power management inside of the power brick instead of inside the phone. This keeps the phone cool, allowing for fast charge rates even when the phone is in use. Our latest Warp Charge delivers 6A at 5V to attain 30W. Compared to other charging technology that rely on high voltage, Warp Charge 30T is able fast charge without overheating, even enabling phone users the capability to game while they charge their devices.”
If we talk about the leaked specifications, the OnePlus 7T is expected to feature a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED FullHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, 2400×1080 pixels resolution, HDR10+ support and 402 ppi pixel density. It will run on OxygenOS based on Android 10 and will feature an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus 7T will feature a 48-megapixel primary camera with ƒ/1.6 aperture, optical and electronic image stabilisation and 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view and ƒ/2.2 aperture’ but instead of an 8-megapixel camera with 3X zoom, the OnePlus 7T will feature a 12-megapixel Telephoto lens with 2X zoom and ƒ/2.2 aperture. There will be a 16-megapixel camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture and EIS for selfies and video calling.
The OnePlus 7T will be powered by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset coupled with an Adreno 640 GPU and 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It will be backed by a 3,800mAh battery with WARP Charge 30T Fast Charging support.
