OnePlus 7T smartphone was recently launched in India for a starting price of Rs 37,999. Now as per a new report, a future update will bring 960fps Slow Motion Mode and 4K ultra-wide video recording to the smartphone.
XDA-Developersreports that OnePlus now has officially announced that the new update will allow OnePlus 7T users to shoot record 960fps slow-motion videos at 720p resolution (HD). At the moment, the phone supports 480fps slow-motion video at 720p resolution and the sensors on the OnePlus 7T isn’t capable of recording 960FPS which is frames per second, so it will likely use some sort of interpolation to achieve those frames.
Apart from this, another feature that a future update will bring to OnePlus 7T is the ability to record 4K video at 30fps using its ultra-wide camera. Currently, OnePlus 7T can record videos using the wide-angle camera but only up to 1080p resolution. This will help a user to get better quality video using the wide-angle camera.
The OnePlus 7T ships with Android 10 out-of-the-box, so the phone will receive those features via an incremental update in coming days.
