OnePlus 7 Pro said to feature Quad HD+ AMOLED 90Hz display and more

OnePlus is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 7 series, pretty soon. Now, we have some fresh information about the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro and the launch date has been once again tipped.


To begin with the leak first, as per the tipster Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to provide a higher display resolution as compared to other OnePlus phones in the past. The device is said to feature a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, which is the highest we will see on a OnePlus device. Furthermore, the screen will boast a screen refresh rate of 90Hz.


The tipster further reveals that the smartphone will come loaded with a 4000mAh battery. The company is planning to add 30W Warp Charge technology, which made its debut with OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. It is also reported to feature stereo speakers for the better audio experience.



Meanwhile, the tipster also reveals that the launch event will take simultaneously on May 14. The company is planning to hold the event in New York, the UK and Bangalore for its upcoming OnePlus 7 series. The brand is also reported to unveil a standard version of OnePlus 7 and a 5G variant of the latest phone. The tipster further claims that the smartphone will come with a vibration motor for a better haptic feedback experience.


Apart from this, the company’s CEO Pete Lau has shared a new teaser on its official Twitter handle about the upcoming smartphone. The tweet reads, “Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast - a true test of hardware and software. The new product is just beautiful - I can't wait for you to see it!” The teaser shows that the smartphone will come loaded with a no-notch design, meaning that the company will introduce a pop-up front-facing mechanism for its upcoming device.
