OnePlus soon to be launched flagship OnePlus 6T smartphone will be Amazon exclusive in India. The company has now started teasing the flagship smartphone in India.
Amazon India on Wednesday launched a new web page dedicated for the upcoming OnePlus 6T smartphone revealing that the handset will be exclusive to its platform in the country. The listing however does not reveal any official launch date but it comes with the ‘Notify Me’ button to allow users to sign up to receive notifications. The teaser page for OnePlus 6T also shows the recently announced OnePlus Type C Bullets earphones. This time OnePlus 6T will come sans the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Separately, OnePlus has started running the first TV advertisement for the smartphone featuring brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan. In the advertisement, Amitabh Bachchan hints at a “cooler way to unlock your phone.” He also says, “The new OnePlus 6T is coming. The TVC also gives us a glimpse of the back panel of the phone.
Apart from this, there is a leak by tipster Roland Quandt of WinFuture has also surfaced for the OnePlus 6T which reveals that the smartphone will come with a dual camera setup with LED flash. This is contrary to the earlier report claiming that OnePlus 6T will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The report shows a rendered image which shows the smartphone in Mirror Black finish. The OnePlus 6T will not have the fingerprint sensor on the back but this time it has been shifted to the front.OnePlus 6T will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. just like recently launched Vivo and Oppo phones.
As per reports, the OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED waterdrop notch display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU. It will come in various variants – 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. OnePlus 6T will sport 3500mAh battery with VOOC Fast charging support. In terms of software, the smartphone will ship with OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
