OnePlus has started rolling out Android 10 Open Beta 1 to its older OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones.
The latest Beta software is available to download for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users who have opted for Beta programme. However, it is important to note that the beta builds are not as stable as the official OTAs, so it is advisable to backup all your data before installing the latest build. In order to install the latest build, users need to make sure that the battery level is above 30 per cent and a minimum 3GB of space is available.
The company has also revealed the official changelog of the Open Beta 1. To start with, users will Android 10 along with new UI design. The update also brings enhanced location permissions and customisation feature in Settings allowing users to choose icon shapes to be displayed in Quick Settings.
The update also brings new Android 10 full-screen gestures and navigation controls. It also adds new Game Space feature to both the devices and brings information of smart display like specific times, locations and events. The update also blocks spam by keywords for Message. The feature can be enabled by going to Messages > Spam > Settings > Blocking settings.
Meanwhile, the company has started rolling out Android 10 update to its OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The update brings a new user interface design. It also brings new customisation feature in Settings allowing users to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings.
