It seems that HMD Global is gearing up to launch a new Nokia-branded smartphone, the Nokia X5. Now a new Nokia smartphone with model number TA-1109 has been spotted on Chinese regulatory site, TENAA, revealing some key specifications.

The smartphone is said to be none other Nokia X5 for the Chinese market and it might be introduced as Nokia 5.1 Plus for the global market. The listing reveals some photos, which hints vertically-aligned dual rear cameras at the back along with a fingerprint sensor. The right houses volume controls and power on/off button. The front sports large screen with Nokia branding at the base, while on the top, there is a front-facing camera.

Talking about key specifications, the Nokia X5 features a 5.86-inch display with a screen of 1520 x 720 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The resolution and aspect ratio hints that the phone might sport a notch on the top. The phone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor.

The Nokia X5 will be available in different memory configurations including 3GB and 32GB of storage option, 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and a 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro card slot.

On the camera front, there is a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary and a secondary lens, which might be used to bokeh effect. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera for video calling and selfies. The phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and on the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, 4.2, WiFi, and dual-SIM. The phone measures 149.51 x 71.98 x 8mm and weighs 160 grams.
