HMD Global has launched several budget smartphones till date like Nokia 1 and Nokia 5.1. Now in a new development, the company is said to be working on another budget smartphone with model number Nokia TA-1124.
The new Nokia smartphone has received (Federal Communications Commission) FCC certification in the US, first spotted by NashvilleChatterClass. The listing has also revealed some of the specifications of the device.
As per the FCC listing, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 439 processor, which is coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone will feature a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
For the camera, the phone will sport a dual camera setup – with one 13-megapixel Autofocus sensor and another 5-megapixel sensor with fixed focus. The FCC documents reveal the phone will have a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The Nokia phone will be backed by a battery which will be between 3400mAh to 3500mAh, the listing reveals.
Nokia phone bearing the Nokia TA-1124 model number has also cleared the Bluetooth SIG certification which was first by NokiaPowerUser. As per the listing, the Nokia TA-1124 will support Bluetooth version 4.2 and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Going by the leaks, this looks the phone will fall under the affordable segment. The new Nokia smartphone could be launched alongside the upcoming Nokia 9 Pureview. However, the launch timeline of the flagship is yet to be revealed by the company.
