Nokia has unveiled three new mobile phones under its Asha series. Named Nokia Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311, all these devices come with full capacitive touchscreen display along with a brand new S40 Asha operating system.
With this, Nokia has now 10 phones under its Asha series.
The new S40 Asha user interface offers a new, fully re-designed touch user interface. Also the devices make use of the Nokia Browser 2.0, which uses Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90 per cent, meaning that consumers can enjoy faster and cheaper internet access at all times without the need of having a third party browser.
Besides, the Nokia technology helps web sites load up to three times faster in comparison to devices without cloud-accelerated browsing, making it simple for users to find and select from more than 10,000 web apps available for download.

Nokia Asha 311
The Nokia Asha 311 is a compact touch screen device that comes with a bright and colourful 3 inch scratch resistant capacitive display with polarization filters for a better visual experience. With WiFi and 3.5G connectivity, users can experience blazing fast internet and downloads on this device.
The Asha 311 comes with pre-loaded social client for accessing Facebook, Twitter and many other social networks. It also has the most popular Messaging service “WhatsAppâ€. Nokia Asha 305
The Nokia Asha 305 is a dual SIM phone with Easy Swap feature, which enables users to interchange between SIMs without switching the phone off. The phone features a 3 inch WQVGA Resolution resistive touch screen along with Bluetooth and Dual Band connectivity.
There is a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera and preinstalled Nokia Maps for hassle free navigation around the town.

Nokia Asha 306
The Nokia Asha 306 comes with similar features as the Asha 305 but without the dual SIM functionality. The Nokia Asha 306 also comes with a 3 inch WQVGA resolution based resistive touch screen and WLAN connectivity as well. It also supports video streaming through both GPRS and WLAN, making this handset truly is a fun way to stay in touch.
The estimated retail price of Nokia Asha 305 is EUR 63 or Rs 4,400 and it’s expected to start shipping in the second quarter of 2012. The estimated retail price for Nokia Asha 306 is EUR 68 or Rs 4,800. The Nokia Asha 311 has an estimated retail price of EUR 92 or Rs 6,400. Both devices (Asha 306 and Asha 311) are expected to start shipping in the third quarter of 2012. Remember, above mentioned prices exclude local taxes and subsidies.
