HMD Global is also working on Nokia 5.2 which might also launch by the end of this year.
Nokia 7.2 was launched in India last month for a starting Rs 18,599. Now the company is said to be working on two new smartphones namely Nokia 8.2 and Nokia 5.2.
According to a report by Nokiamob, the Nokia 8.2 will launch towards the end of 2019. The reports further reveals that the Nokia 8.2 might come with a "unique" front camera design and will run on a powerful Snapdragon Series 7xx processor likely to be Snapdragon 735. Nokia 8.2 will be the successor of the Nokia 8.1 which was launched in India last year.
The report does not reveal anything about the "unique" front camera solution but it suggests that the Nokia 8.2 might come with a pop-up selfie camera, will be a first for the company. The presence of pop-up selfie camera in the phone will remove the need for a notch. To recall, the Nokia 8.1 comes with a pretty wide notch.
Furthermore, apart from Nokia 8.2, HMD Global is also working on Nokia 5.2 which might also launch by the end of this year. Nokia 5.2 will be a successor of the Nokia 5.1, and it might sport a design similar to the recently announced Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 handsets. The approximate launch date of Nokia 5.2 is not known at the moment but the announcement could be pushed to MWC 2020.
An earlier report also revealed that Nokia 8.2 is in the works and the device will come with a pop-up selfie camera for the first time on a Nokia smartphone. As per rumours, Nokia 8.2 is tipped to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The pop-up selfie camera at the top of the Nokia 8.2 is expected to be a 32MP sensor
