Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus receive a price cut in India

Starting with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, the smartphone is now available at a price tag of Rs 14,999. To recall, the phone was launched in India for Rs 15,999, reflecting a price cut of Rs 1000.

HMD Global has slashed the prices of the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus in India. The smartphones with the revised prices are available for purchase from Flipkart.

Starting with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, the smartphone is now available at a price tag of Rs 14,999. To recall, the phone was launched in India for Rs 15,999, reflecting a price cut of Rs 1000. Similarly, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will now be available at a price tag of Rs 9999 as opposed to its original price tag of Rs 10,999. This also shows a price cut of Rs 1000.

With this, both the smartphones become of the cheapest One smartphone to be bought under their respective price segment. Jumping straight to the specifications and starting with Nokia 6.1 Plus, the smartphone features a glass body and it is equipped with a 5.8-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU. It is available in 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with an option to expand the memory up to 400GB via card slot.

On the camera front, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is equipped with a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 16-megapixel primary lens f/2.0 and a 5-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The phone runs on Android Oreo and it features a 3060mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Coming to the Nokia 5.1 Plus, the smartphone features a 5.86-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution 1520 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor along with Mali-G72 GPU. It is available in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For optics, Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 13-megapixel primary with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor for AI portrait shots at the rear panel. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera for video calling and selfies with AI-powered features.

The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and just like Nokia 6.1 Plus, it comes Android One branding. The phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options include VoLTE, 4.2, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, and USB port.
