HMD Global introduced its latest Android One smartphone, the Nokia 6.1 Plus, in India earlier this month. Now, the phone will go on sale for the first time in India at 12:00 PM IST.
The new Nokia 6.1 Plus will be available for purchase from Flipkart and Nokia Mobile Shop at a price tag of Rs 15,999. It is important to note that this is a flash sale, meaning only a limited number of devices will be up for sale. HMD Global has also introduced a slew of launch offers on the latest Nokia 6.1 Plus.
To start with, Airtel users opting for the latest smartphone will get a cashback of Rs 1,800 and up to 240GB of complementary data. However one has to recharge with Rs 199/249/448 plans. Further, HDFC credit card holders will be able to buy the latest smartphone at No Cost EMI. Further, Flipkart is offering up to Rs 15,000 off on exchange of their old smartphones with Nokia 6.1 Plus. Apart from this, Flipkart is also offering assured cashback of Rs 7,000 on the latest smartphone.

The latest smartphone comes with a direct competition with the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, Realme 1 and Xiaomi Mi A2. However, the Android One branding simply means that the phone will get much faster updates as compared to Asus and Realme smartphones. Further, the company has promised that the latest smartphone will be updated Android 9.0 Pie. The main highlight of the smartphone is the glass design coupled with a notched display.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus is equipped with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform with Adreno 509 GPU. This coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, ensures a smooth performance. The memory can be further expanded up to 400GB via micro SD card slot.

On the camera front, Nokia 6.1 Plus features a dual-camera setup with 16-megapixel primary lens f/2.0 Aperture and a 5-megapixel Monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is equipped with a 3060 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 Fast charging support. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and Type-C.
