Nokia 3310 now available for pre-orders, might launch next week

The pre-orders have been listed on websites retailing in Germany and Austria but given Nokia’s plans to launch its devices in 120 markets simultaneously, Nokia 3310 might land in India next week.

Nokia 3310 which was probably the most talked about smartphone at this year’s Mobile World Congress might go on sale next week. As spotted by NokiaPowerUser in a listing, Nokia 3310 is up for pre-orders via some retailers along with the release date which is April 28, 2017. However, the only concern here is the pricing which is a little bit higher at EUR 58 (approx. Rs 4000) than the price EUR 49 quoted by HMD Global at the launch in February. The pre-orders have been listed on websites retailing in Germany and Austria but given Nokia’s plans to launch its devices in 120 markets simultaneously, Nokia 3310 might land in India next week.

Note that this is separate from the one spotted last week on a Swedish website which hinted the device to come with capabilities which was later claimed to be incorrect by HMD, reported NokiaPowerUser.

To recall, Nokia 3310 will come in four colour variants namely Warm Red (Glossy), Dark Blue (Matte), Yellow (Glossy), Grey (Matte). The Nokia 3310 comes with a 2.4-inch screen along with a decent 16GB internal storage for a feature phone. Further, this storage can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card. We get a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash along with Nokia Series 30+ operating system. For the fuel, the 3310 packs a 1200 mAh battery which Nokia claims can last you 22.1 hours of talk time, 31 days of standby, 51 hours of MP3 playback and 39 hours FM radio playback. In terms of connectivity, we get Micro USB (2.0), 3.0 with SLAM, 3.5 mm jack and 2G network connectivity.

With pre-orders already live in Europe, the feature phone might hit the Indian shores sooner than later. Are you excited?
