Nokia 3.1 update in India brings July Android Security Patch

Nokia 3.1 has started receiving the July security update from Google.

HMD Global has started rolling out July Android security patch update to its Nokia 3.1 smartphone.Nokia 3.1 was launched last year with Android 8.0 and was later updated to Android 8.1 Oreo as well. It received a stable Android 9.0 Pie update earlier this year.

As per a report, Nokia 3.1 has started receiving the July security update from Google. The update is115.6 in size and it is currently rolling out in India. The update is being pushed as an over-the-air in batches. One can check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software updates.

To recall, Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2-inch display and it is powered by MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor. The phone has 3GB and 32GB storage, 13-megapixel rear camera (f/2.0 aperture), 8-megapixel front-facing camera (f/2.0 aperture). The phone is backed up by 2,990mAh battery and it now runs on Android 9.0 Pie.

On the connectivity front, VoLTE, 4.1, GPS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, hybrid and port. The phone measures 146.25 x 68.65 x 8.7mm and weighs 138.3 grams.
