Samsung is yet to start rolling out Android 4.0 update to its existing Galaxy SII users in India but it has already started shipping new units with the latest Android 4.0 version.
According to some retailer, which were contacted by The Mobile Indian,”If you are planning to buy Galaxy SII look for import date on the packing which should be April 2012 or later to get the unit with latest Android 4.0.”
Samsung Galaxy SII, has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) Plus display.The phone features an ARM cortex A9 based 1.2 GHz dual core Processor and a dedicated graphics chip from ARM MALI, coupled with 1 GB RAM. The phone comes with HDMI and Micro USB port for on the go connectivity as well.
It also, features an 8 Megapixel rear camera which is capable of full HD 1080 video recording, and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. Galaxy SII also supports Near Field Communications or NFC as well for mobile transactions.
The phone is currently available for Rs 28,000.
