NASA has released the Spacecraft 3D app for the Google Android platform based devices. The Spacecraft 3D app makes use of the device’s camera to create augmented reality and give a 3D view of the NASA spacecrafts. This app is being offered for free and has been available for the Apple iOS platform as well.
The Spacecraft 3D app creates a 3D Imagery based on the object placed in the front of the camera. Basically, an object needs to be placed and the camera should be pointing at that object with the app running. The app will then create a 3D imagery of a spacecraft around that object.
