CENTRiC, an Indian-based smartphone company, has today introduced five smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. The brand has introduced CENTRiC S1, G5, G3, A2 and L4.
The CENTRiC S1 comes with a price tag of $310 (approx. Rs 22,000), while the G5 and G3 come with a price tag of $160 (approx Rs 12,000) and $250 (approx. Rs 17,000). Lastly, the CENTRiC A2 and L4 are priced at $140 and $90 (approx Rs 6,400). CENTRiC has already confirmed to The Mobile Indian that the L4 will be available by March end, while the rest of the smartphones will be made available in the month of June.
CENTRiC S1
To begin with the company’s latest offering, it comes loaded with a host of interesting features. This is the first smartphone from an Indian brand that is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint sensor solution. The CENTRiC S1 is equipped with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display along with a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 Processor and it will be available in two memory options: 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage; 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
For the optics, the phone is loaded with a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 16-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary lens. The front camera comes with a pop-up mechanism and it features an 8-megapixel sensor. It is backed by a 3800mAh battery with Pump Express 3.0 Fast charging that the company claims delivers 50 percent charge in 20 minutes. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie.
CENTRiC G5 and G3
Coming to CENTRiC G3, the phone is equipped with a 6.23-inch Full HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 Chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone features a dual-camera setup at the rear with a combination of 12-megapixel primary lens and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. THe phone is backed by a 3800mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie.
CENTRiC G5, on the other hand, features a 6.21-inch HD+ teardrop notch display and it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor. It is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone features a fingerprint scanner and facial recognition. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The device is equipped with a dual-camera setup with 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies.
CENTRiC A2 and L4
CENTRiC A2 is equipped with a 5.86-inch HD+ notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is loaded with a 13MP+5MP dual rear camera and there is an 8MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 3400mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie.
CENTRiC L4 features a 5.45-inch HD display and it is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone is equipped with a 13MP AF OptiVu rear camera with dual LED flash and 8MP front camera. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is juiced up by a 2950mAh battery.
