MWC 2018: ZTE Blade V9, V9 Vita and Temp Go smartphones announced

ZTE Blade V9, V9 Vita run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and come with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has launched Blade V9, V9 Vita and Temp Go smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The ZTE Blade V9, V9 Vita and Temp Go are priced at $330, $220 and $79 respectively. The ZTE Temp Go is the company’s first Go smartphone and is now available unlocked in the U.S. On the other hand, the ZTE Blade V9 and V9 Vita will be launched in selected markets across Europe, Mexico, and China.

ZTE Blade V9

ZTE Blade V9 was found listed on ZTE’s Spanish websitewith complete specifications in December last year. ZTE Blade V9 features a 5.7-inch Full display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The ZTE Blade V9 has a double-sided glass design, which has a reflective finish at the back. The device is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable via card. It runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and also houses a fingerprint scanner as well, which sits on its back panel.

ZTE Blade V9 Vita

On the camera front, the ZTE Blade V9 has a dual camera set up of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear camera with PDAF 2.0, F/1.8, 6P Lens and 1.12µm. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It gets its strength from a powerful 3200mAh Lithium-ion battery. Besides, the device offers LTE, micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4.2, GPS, 3.5 mm jack and NFC. The handset measures 151.4 x 70.6 x 7.5mm and weighs 140 grams.

ZTE Blade V9 Vita

The ZTE Blade V9 Vita is a toned down version of ZTE Blade V9. It features a 5.45-inch HD+ display and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. The smartphone comes in two variants – 2 of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage and 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Both the variants are expandable via microSD card slot. There is a dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For the front, there is 5-megapixel for selfies and video chats. Rest of the specs are same as Blade V9. It measures 146.8 x 68.7 x 7.6mm.

ZTE Tempo Go

The ZTE Tempo Go features a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display and is fueled by a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB internal storage, which is further expandable to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and comes pre-loaded Android Go apps like Gmail Go, YouTube Go, Maps Go and more. It is backed up by a 2200 battery which claims to offer 12 hours of and 220 hours of standby time.

ZTE Blade V9 Vita

On the camera front, the ZTE Tempo Go has a 5-megapixel snapper with Flash on the back, and a 2-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Further, the smartphone offers dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port. The handset measures 145.5 x 71.9 x 9.1mm and it weighs 141 grams.
