To offer wider choice and option for CDMA consumers in India, MTS will be launching three new Android based smartphones bundled with attractive voice and data plans.
Sources familiar with the development have said to The Mobile Indian, “In the next couple of days MTS will launch three new smartphones under its Mtag series bundled with free voice and data usage in the price range of Rs 5,0,00 to Rs 7,500.”
CDMA services have always suffered because of lack of handset options. MTS, which provides only CDMA services in the country, wants to undo this shortage by introducing a range of smartphones.
The operator plans to launch Android 2.3 based MTS MTag 351, MTag 352 and MTag 281 to add to its existing portfolio of smartphones.

MTS MTAG 351
The MTS MTag 351 has a 3.5 inch display with capacitive touch. The smartphone features a dual camera with flash – a 3 mega pixel camera with CMOS sensor at the back, and a VGA camera in front. The phone comes with a 2 GB card in box and memory can be further expanded to upto 32 GB to add your favorite music, movies, photos etc.
This smartphone is powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm Processor and is based on Android Gingerbread (v2.3). The handset is available in two peppy colours – Spicy Red and Blueish Black.
It will have as a 1300 mAh battery and Bluetooth connectivity.
