Motorola has today announced the launch of its first Android One smartphone in India. Dubbed as Motorola One Power, the smartphone comes at a price tag of Rs 15,999 and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The phone will be available for registration from September24, 2018 and it will go on sale on October 05, 2018 at 12:00 PM.
This is the first smartphone from Motorola that is introduced in India with Android One programme. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with August security patch. Further, this is the first phone from Moto’s camp to feature a notch on the top. The phone comes loaded with a metallic design and it features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ Max Vision display with a screen Resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels.
The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Processor coupled with Adreno 50 GPU. The device packs a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. With this, the Motorola One Power gives a direct competition to the Xiaomi Mi A2, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.

On the camera front, you get a dual-camera setup at the rear. The setup comes with a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. For the front, there is a 12-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
One of the major highlights of this smartphone is the 5000mAh battery. The company claims that with TurboPower charger, one could get 6 hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charge. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C and a Headphone jack.
