Motorola has today launched its two latest budget-centric smartphones, the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 in India. The Moto E5 Plus is priced at Rs 11,999 while Moto E5 will cost you Rs 9,999. The Moto E5 Plus will be available on Amazon and Moto Hubs retail stores starting from today midnight. The Moto E5 will be available from Moto Hub stores offline. The Moto E5 Plus comes in Fine Gold and Black and Moto E5 comes in Flash Gray and Fine Gold colour variants.
With the purchase of Moto E5 Plus, one can avail various offers which include flat Rs 800 discount using SBI card, no cost EMI up to 9 months, 130GB Reliance Jio additional data, extra Rs 1000 off on an exchange and if you shop at MotoHubs using the Paytm mall app, you will get Rs 1200 cashback on mobile bill payments, recharges or utility payments. The Moto E5, on the other hand, will come with the Paytm Mall and Jio offers.
To recall, Motorola unveiled its latest Moto E5 series in April this year. The Moto E5 Plus comes loaded with a similar design, as we have seen in the Moto G6. It sports a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage in addition to a microSD card slot that will be able to add another 128GB of memory to the device.
The E5 Plus features a 12MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0, LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) as well as a 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture on the front for selfies. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo, all of which is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W TurboPower fast charging. It measures 161.9 x 75.3 x 9.35 mm and weighs 200 grams.
On the other hand, Moto E5 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with Adreno 308 GPU. The Moto E5 is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.
The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixel size and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo it is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. On the connectivity front, the Moto E5 supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and dual-SIM. The phone measures 154.4 x 72.2 x 8.95 mm and weighs 174 grams.
