Motorola Mobility India has today announced further expansion of their retail presence by launching 100 new Moto Hubs in Gujarat. The company has opened the Moto Hubs across top four cities including 50 in Ahmedabad, 20 in Rajkot, 15 each in Baroda and Surat respectively.
The Moto Hub store will house the entire portfolio of Motorola devices including all the online exclusives models like the Moto X4, Moto Z-series and more. Customers will be able to experience all the products and they can also purchase the products from these stores.
The store will also feature a range of Motorola accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones and covers. Apart from this, the Moto Mods including JBL Sound Boost 2 speaker Mod, Moto TurboPower Pack battery Mod and Moto GamePad mod, will be available for purchase from Moto Hubs as well.
Interestingly, Gujarat contributes more than 28% of the smartphone market in west India and 9% of the total smartphone market in the country; selling approximately 6 lakh smartphones per month. Furthermore, Ahmedabad and Surat are two of the biggest markets in the state selling 1.5L and 80K smartphones every month.
Motorola has been strengthening its retail footprint in the country. The company recently launched 50 Moto Hubs in the western region of Uttar Pradesh, 25 stores in North East India and strengthened its presence in the southern market with 50 new ‘Moto Hubs’ each in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
It also announced its entry in Madhya Pradesh with the opening of 60 Moto Hubs. Prior to that, Motorola also announced 100 Moto Hubs across Tamil Nadu with 50 Moto Hubs in Chennai and 100 new ‘Moto Hubs’ in Karnataka across top 8 cities out of which 50 will be in Bengaluru. In addition to this, it also announced the opening of 50 new Moto Hubs in Mumbai and 25 Moto Hubs in Kolkata respectively. Motorola commenced the year 2018, with the opening of 50 new Moto Hubs in New Delhi.
