Lenovo seems to be getting ready to launch Moto M in India in mid-December. The company sources have confirmed this to The Mobile Indian. Even the Moto IIndia’s official twitter handle has started teasing about a smartphone launch.
The tweet reads “Something different is coming your way. Stay tuned to know more. #ComingSoon”. The tweet also carries a blurry image of the phone, however, it does not spell out the name of the device.

The Moto M was unveiled (https://www.themobileindian.com/news/20312_Moto-M-unveiled-in-China) at an event in China earlier this month at a price tag of CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 19,600) in Gold and Silver colour variants. As far as the specifications go, Moto M features Super AMOLED a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU. The smartphone might come with 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel shooter dual-tone LED flash, PDAF while an 8-megapixel camera is in its front. The phone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system backed up by a 3050mAh battery with Turbocharging technology. Connectivity features of the device include dual sim 4G, VoLTE, GPS capability, Bluetooth NFC, USB Type-C. The device measures 151.35×75.35×7.85mm.
