Moto G7 with 6.24-inch full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 632 launched in India

Moto G7 comes in Ceramic Black and Clear White colour options.

Motorola has today launched Moto G7 in India for Rs 16,999. The smartphone comes inCeramic Black and Clear White colour options. It will go on sale through Flipkart and offline retail stores in the country beginning today.

Alongside Moto G7, the company has also launched Motorola One for Rs 13,999. Like Moto G7, this one also will be available on Flipkart as well as offline stores starting today, March 25th.

Motorola launched Moto G7 series earlier this year including Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play smartphones in Brazil. Moto G7 Power has already been launched in India for Rs 13,999. Motorola has not yet revealed if it plans to launch any other smartphone of the Moto G7 series in India.

The Moto G7 comes with a 6.24-inch full-HD+ (1080×2270 pixels) Max Vision display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 403ppi pixel density, which is protected by a layer of 3. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core with a clock speed of 1.8GHz. Moto G7 is splash resistant with its P2i water-repellent nano coating.

The phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable upto 512GB via microSD card slot. Moto G7 runs on 9 Pie operating system and it has a 3,000mAh battery with 15W Turbopower charging support. The smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also supports Face Unlock.

For optics, there is a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, flash and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Moto G7 measures in at 157×75.3x8mm and it weighs 172 grams.

The Motorola One is an Android One device. It features 5.9-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 chip with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). There is a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel with f/2.0 lens combined with a secondary 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens for depth sensing. There is a front camera of 8-megapixel sensor and the phone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery that has support for TurboPower fast charging.

The Motorola One boots Android 8.1 Oreo which upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie). Like the Moto G7, the Motorola One too is covered in a layer of P2i coating for protection against liquid. It measures 149.9 x 72.2 x 7.9mm and its weight is 162g.
