Motorola has recently announced on Twitter that it will soon launch its G6 series phones in India soon.
Now a report of BGR has claimed that the phones – G6 and G6 Play – will launch in India on this May 21, i.e. next week itself.
Quoting sources, it claimed that the phones will be Flipkart exclusive. In the past, Motorola used to launch one phone of a series via Flipkart and the other through Amazon.
To recall, Motorola introduced the Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in April this year. The Moto G6 is priced at $249 (about Rs. 16,500), while the Moto G6 Play will cost $199 (about Rs. 13,000).
Starting with Moto G6, the phone features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The G6 has 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB RAM. It ships with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. This dual SIM phone has two rear cameras – 12-megapixel primary camera with 76-degree lens and f/1.8 aperture. For selfies and video calling, it offers a 5-megapixel front camera with 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G6 Play has a 5.7-inch screen but comes with HD resolution. Besides, it has 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 128 GB microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture with a single LED flash, an 8-megapixel front sensor, 4000mAh battery with TurboCharge support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and the usual sensors.
