Moto G5S now Rs 5,000 cheaper but for a limited time

Lenovo’s owned Motorola launched Moto G5S and G5S Plus in India in August last year for Rs 14,999 and 15,999 respectively. The Moto G5S smartphone has now received a temporary price cut of Rs 5,000 on Amazon India. After the price cut, the Moto G5S is available for Rs 9,999. However, the offer is only for a limited period and is valid only until April 11. It is currently live on Amazon India. Moto G5S comes in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colours.

The price cut has been announced by Motorola via its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads “We don’t mean to brag but making the first phone call 45 years ago calls for some celebration! So head to @AmazonIn and grab the all-metal #MotoG5s, which comes with 4 RAM and a 16MP rear camera, now at just Rs. 9,999. Offer valid till 11/04 only.”

The Moto G5S comes with a metal unibody made of high-grade aluminium and a 5.2-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 3 protection. The Moto G5S packs a 3000mAh battery, which is higher when compared to Moto G5’s 2800mAh battery. Further, the device comes loaded with a fingerprint sensor, which is placed at the bottom of the display.

On the hardware front, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, however, the company has included a hybrid card slot for up to 128GB expandable storage. The device features a 16-megapixel rear camera along with f/2.0 and single LED flash, while on the front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie shooter along with an LED flash. The phone runs on 7.1 Nougat.
