Gionee has announced yet another quad core smartphone in India. Named as Gionee CTRL V5, this handset is priced at Rs 12,999 which makes it a direct competitor of the Moto G.
The Gionee CTRL V5 comes with a 4.7 inch IPS display with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution. It is powered by Mediatek’s quad core Processor and 1 GB RAM but it has the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system . The V5 has decent 8 GB internal storage of which around 5 GB is expected to be available for users. Besides, there is an expandable storage slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of upto 32 GB.
It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports 3G connectivity as well. Besides, this 8.07 mm thick handset has an 1800 mAh battery. The phone comes with an 8 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. Besides, it has WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM radio.
