A day after we saw leaked renders of the Razr (2019) foldable device, Motorola’s upcoming E6 smartphone has been leaked online in the form of specifications, sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and running Android 9 Pie.
The news comes from XDA Developers’ Mishaal Rahman who shared the details regarding the yet-to-be-released Moto E6 which will be codenamed ‘surfna’. The phone is expected to launch first in the US and judging by Motorola’s history, the E-series could well be launched in India as well.
Speaking of specifications, the Moto E6 is expected to feature a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of storage.
The Moto E6 will equip a single 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 while the one on the front will feature a 5MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture as well. The budget Moto device will run on Android 9 Pie and we can expect the phone to come with a battery similar to the 4,000mAh power unit on the Moto E5. The Motorola Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus alongside the Moto E5 Play were launched in July 2018 in India. Keeping that in mind, we can expect the company to launch the new Moto E-series in the next couple of months.
