Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G now getting Android Marshmallow: Report

The Android Marshmallow update for the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G version is of 453.9 MB size.

Moto E (2nd Gen) version, which was launched in India last year with Lollipop, is now getting the Android Marshmallow update, according to a report of Android Police. Motorola India has already rolled out the latest Android update for four of its devices, namely Moto G (2nd Gen), Moto G (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, and Moto X Play.

As per the report, the update is of 453.9 in size and it is available over the air. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update.

The Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display, front-facing 0.3 megapixel camera, Android Lollipop operating system and 1.2GHz, 64 bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. The dual SIM handset 1 RAM, 8 GB built in storage and a 32 GB micro card slot.

Measuring 66.8×129.9×12.3 mm, the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G weighs 145 grams with a 2390 battery. The smartphone offers 5 megapixel camera, FM radio, WiFi, and GPS with GLONASS and as well as Beidou.

Note that the 4G version of the Moto E (2nd Gen) is available in India at Rs 6,999 while the version is retailing for Rs 5,999.
