Microsoft Lumia 550, which was recently launched in Europe, has been announced for the Indian market for Rs 9,399. The smartphone will support 4G networks in India and will be available for purchase from next week.
The Microsoft Lumia 550 has a 4.7 inch HD display and is armed with the 1.1 GHz Snapdragon 210 quad core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of inbuilt memory and an expandable storage slot that could hold a micro SD card of 200 GB capacity.
The Microsoft Lumia 550, which measures 136.1 x 67.8 x 9.9 mm, weighs 141.9 grams with its 2100 mAh removable battery. The Lumia 550 offers a 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera with f/2.4 Aperture and single LED flash light and a 2 megapixel front camera.
Being a Windows 10 device, the Lumia 550 offers Microsoft apps such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Cortana, OneDrive, Outlook Mail, Outlook Calender and Skype. The Lumia 550 seems to has a single SIM slot, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.
