Microsoft Devices launches Nokia 225 for Rs 3,329

Microsoft Devices has introduced an affordable Internet enabled mobile phone - Nokia 225 for Rs 3329.

Microsoft Devices has a launched new Internet enabled mobile phone – Nokia 225 – in India. Measuring 10.4 mm thick, Nokia 225 has been introduced in the single version at the best buy price of Rs 3,329. Nokia 225 runs Nokia Series 30 software. The dual SIM version of the phone too is available for about the same price.

Nokia 225, which bears a resemblance to the Nokia 220, comes with a monoblock design with rounded corners. Most importantly, it has a dust-proof as well as splash proof multi-tap keypad. Nokia 225 comes with a 2.8-inch display and has the Nokia Xpress that offers bookmarks and information whenever you load the browser.

Nokia has also preloaded few applications such as Facebook, Twitter and Bing search in the phone. The Nokia 225 also offers five games pre-loaded on it – Block Breaker 3, Asphalt 6, Assassin’s Creed 3, The Avengers and Real Football 2012.

Nokia 225 offers a 2 megapixel camera at its rear. It has and Nokia SLAM feature to share files as well. Besides, the phone has built-in FM Radio for on the go entertainment. There is a micro SD slot in the Nokia 225 that can support a micro SD card of up to 32 capacity. Its back speaker offers loudness of 103 phone.

Microsoft Devices promises great battery life in both the versions of Nokia 225 – the single SIM Nokia 225 offers of 36 days while the Dual SIM model offers 27 days. Nokia 225 can play back music for almost 50 hours and offers of 21 hours. Nokia 225 will be sold in Red, Yellow, Green, Black and White colour options at the best buy price of Rs 3,329.
