Micromax to launch another dual SIM Android phone in March

The new Micromax A78 will have a 3.5 inch capacitive display, Android 2.3 and touch and Qwerty keypad.

Indian handset manufacturer Micromax, which has been maintaining a low profile for some time, will be launching another affordable dual smartphone for Rs 8,000 in March this year.

To be named Micromax A78, the smartphone will have a 3.5 inch capacitive display and will be powered by Android 2.3 operating system. Besides, it will have a touchpad and keypad.

“Micromax A78 will run on a 650 processor and will be powered by a 1300 battery. It will have a 3 rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera for video conferencing,” company officials told The Mobile Indian on condition of anonymity.

On the connectivity front it will support WiFi, and GPS. The phone, with dimensions of 12 cm x 6.35 cm x 1.09 cm, will also come with an expandable memory slot that accepts up to 32 GB. Micromax A78 will have gravity and light as well.
